Supra OEM ma61s are enroute as we speak. The seller was great and I thank you very much (Oscar from Classic-Celica website). Cant wait. They should be here on the 6th of February. 5 rims with center caps, lugs, and trod with 195/65/14s. Should be a simple bolt up with no cutting or well mods to fit the size.

Fingers crossed and heres a pic of the spare rim.

Okay. They came. Tried to clean them up the best that I could and they look great on the car.

Having a problem with the fronts though. There is an offset to the rim and they are grinding in all turns. Could be the struts though - they are original. Either way, the look of the car is
sweet.

Started looking at front suspension. Calipers seized on one side, so replaced both and also the hoses. I think I will need strut replacement as Ive got at least a 2"-3" drop and slow rebound and Im hoping it gets rid of the grinding.

June 2007

Started looking again at the interior. Beginning the switch over to a complete black interior. Bought interior door panels, handles, visors, and glove box door from a guy in California ( I believe - Ill update and give props when I can check the box they came in). Have painted the center dash and gotten some
miscellaneous parts from Toyhead - www.toyhead.com. The interiors coming together but I need to get the damned back seat. Black seatcovers look like crap.

Hooked up with Marcus V. from the Classic- Celica site !!!! Thanks Marcus, your a wealth of information and parts. I met him while he was getting a parts car from down in Port Richey, and we came back to my house and I got some parts out of the car. Wouldya believe - a entire, intact, non-ripped back seat !!!! I got some other miscellaneous parts to include a hood and rear spoiler. The hood was in poor shape, but better than my original, so we swapped. Either way, that seat is awesome and perfectly goes with the car.

Thanks again Marcus.

October 2007

Three things on tap now.

First, the tire rubbing issue. And I want bigger tires in the rear.

Second, the dash cluster is too dark, so I need to replace bulbs, and Ive got an idea about painting the interior of the guage bezels the same as the exterior color of the car.

Third, is the dash radio.

Got with Flyspyder from Classic-Celica website and he had a set of supra rims without an offset, and they had 235/60 Futuras and 205/60 Falkens. I dont believe the rims are OEM
(or is that JDM ?). Anyway, met him and got them. It solved much of the rubbing problem in the front, but now Ive got to raise up the rear so the tires dont rub (was going to anyway).

Got Gabriel airshocks for a mid 80s Camaro. They bolt in and work perfectly. Off Ebay for 80.00 delivered. Raised the back.

Oh, in these pictures you can see the rear spoiler and hood I also got from Marcus.

Tire rubbing issue solved (mostly - slight rubbing at full turn).

Dash cluster and lights.Got a cluster off Ebay - $60.00 I believe. Its darker than my original tan one and came with a full guage complement and best of all - intact, uncut radio opening. Bought new bulbs and found an AM/FM pushbutton radio on Ebay for 20.00. Took out my old dash, painted the interior bezel areas of the new dash a red metallic color, painted the trim and lettering on the panel, switched my guages (which I know work) into the panel I bought,
put in the stock radio, and put it all back in. Took about 3 hours as Ive never taken a dash out before. Was a little nervous, but it went fairly easy. I had labeled all the plugs as I
removed them/taking out the dash, and it made putting the new one in so much easier.

Oh, as you can see in the pic, I got a new steering wheel from SubaruG at the Classic-Celica website - a Grant. It was smaller than the OEM and since Im 6’2" it made getting in/out alittle easier as its almost 2" smaller in diameter.
